Join us for a weekend of competitive golf, great food, and Oktoberfest fun at Allendale Country Club!

The Oktoberfest Shoot-Out is a two-day, non-elimination team match play event. Teams of two will be placed into flights of six teams based on their combined GHIN Handicap Index. Each team will play a nine-hole Net Best Ball Match against every other team in their flight.

Each team will play five total nine-hole matches, with three matches on Saturday and two matches on Sunday. Matches are played at 80% handicap, with one point awarded for a hole won, ½ point for a halved hole, and zero points for a hole lost. Every team will play all five matches, so no team is eliminated during the competition.

Saturday, October 10

8:30 AM – First 9-Hole Match

11:00 AM – Second 9-Hole Match

1:30 PM – Third 9-Hole Match

Sunday, October 11

8:30 AM – Fourth 9-Hole Match

11:00 AM – Fifth 9-Hole Match

1:30 PM – Championship Playoff

Daily breakfast sandwiches will be available beginning at 7:30 AM.

CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFF

Following the five matches, the winner of each flight will advance to the Championship Playoff. Teams will compete in a sudden-death playoff on Hole 18, with each flight playing from a designated yardage. The low score will be crowned the Oktoberfest Shoot-Out Champion and receive a Winners Jacket!

TEES & HANDICAPS

Handicap Index + Age = Adjusted Tee Number

Blue Tees: 70 & below

Blue/Gold Tees: 71–80

Silver Tees: 81+

Ladies will play from the Silver Tees.

Each player will receive 80% of their handicap based on their lowest 12-month GHIN Handicap Index.

Member-Member: $240 per team

Member-Guest: $320 per team

Guest-Guest: $440 per team

Entry includes golf, cart, tee gift, breakfast sandwiches, and Oktoberfest-themed food.

You don’t have to play in the Shoot-Out to enjoy the Oktoberfest celebration. Join us Sunday for the party, live music, and Oktoberfest atmosphere!

There will be a $10 cover fee at the door, which includes the band. If you’d like something to eat, you can order from our Chef’s Special Oktoberfest Menu, featuring Oktoberfest-inspired food available for purchase.
