Allendale Country Club is proud to honor the memory of Francis G. “Greg” Dennehy, our beloved former Head Golf Professional, with a commemorative plaque on the course.

Greg was a fixture in the golf community—from his early days at Plymouth Country Club to his many years serving clubs throughout the region. At Allendale, he was more than a pro—he was a mentor, a friend, and a guiding voice for golfers of all levels. Since 1970, Greg has held the Allendale course record with a score of 65, and his legacy continues to inspire everyone who walks our fairways.

The memorial plaque will be placed under Greg’s favorite tree—his peaceful spot overlooking holes 2, 3, 4, 5, half of 6 and 7, 8, and 16—where he often sat and enjoyed the game he loved most.
